Date: 8th February 2012
Location: The King’s Arms, Whiteladies Road, Blackboy Hill, Bristol
Out of all the genres in the history of Hollywood (and film in general) the Western has always been at the heart of establishing the art of Cinema. What would have been the outcome of early American Cinema without the… release of Edwin S Porter’s ‘The Great Train Robbery‘ (1903)?
The Bristol Silents Club Screening for February 2012 will celebrate this classic of Hollywood genres with a screening of two rare films. The night will also celebrate Hollywood’s first major Western star, William S Hart.
So hopefully we’ll see some of you there.
