The Lost World Tour – Extra Screenings

Following three successful screenings of The Lost World in various venues in the SouthWest, Bristol Silents, in collaboration with John Garden, are thrilled to announce a handful of further dates across the UK.
John is Scissor Sisters musical director and keyboard player and will be providing a live sound track to this innovative, stop-motion dinosaur film. Featuring pioneering animation techniques from Willis O’Brien, just prior to his work on King Kong, this silent classic is both a dramatic and enchanting re-telling of Conan Doyle’s literary classic.
“I’m hoping to re-imagine the score as if it was a 1980s sci-fi film, which is when I originally saw the film and when movies like Blade Runner and Star Wars were about. I want to bring The Lost World back into the fold of these classic sci-fi films.” – John Garden.
